Last week Banners Gate Neighbourhood Forum planted 4000 bulbs, 1000 each of Allium, Narcissus, Daffodils and Crocus. With a bit of luck we shall have several different colours over a period of, maybe, eight weeks as the crocuses flower followed by the daffodils, then the narcissus and finally the allium.
It’s all down to a grant of £2000 from Tesco’s support of local charities. Thanks to all who dropped their plastic coins into our box.
