Phone scam in operation locally

Hi Tony.

A few minutes ago I had a telephone call from a 10229 number–it was a
recorded message telling me that my internet would be going down–press
1 to contact your internet provider.

Of course I didn’t–I just clicked off.

No doubt if I had pressed 1 it would have cost me money.
