Good afternoon
We want to get the attached information out as far and wide as possible to citizens / Communities during this time where we know people may be struggling with their mental wellbeing, due to boredom/anxiety/stress etc. The attached leaflet give you useful contact numbers if you should ever need them . Combating loneliness during social isolation
We are launching a penpal service for those who are experiencing the negative impact of the coronavirus lockdown measures. The aim of the system is to provide a regular penpal who you can make contact with on a weekly basis and vice versa.
It can be run through email or the traditional method of pen and paper; making full use of the Royal Mail.
If you wish to take part please email coronaviruspenpals@gmail.com.
Please provide information of whether you would like your penpal to communicate via email or the post. If you wish to receive communication through the post, please provide your address.
No personal information will be shared and your address or email address will only be shared with your matched penpal. You may also withdraw from the penpal should you wish to.
